FAQ > ArmedXpert Options > How do you delete and add new interpretation quality controls?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

To delete the interpretation quality controls, bring up the ArmedXpert Options window, by clicking on the ArmedXpert green button on the upper left hand side of the screen. Then click on the “ArmedXpert Options” button on the lower left hand side of the opened window.  Click on “Interpretation” on the list on the left hand side of the ArmedXpert Options Window.  Click on the “Quality Control” tab.

Select the Locus you would like to delete.  The selected Locus will be highlighted blue.  There are several ways to select the locus.  To select all Loci, click on the upper left hand of the list.  This will highlight everything in blue.  You can also select all or a series of Locus by highlighting the first one and dragging your mouse down to the last locus of the series.  To select a single locus, click anywhere in that selected row.  It will highlight in blue just the selected one.  Once selected, click on the “Delete Selected” button.  Click on the “Ok” screen to close the window.

To add new interpretation quality controls, first you will need to import the table in ArmedXpert. Click on the ArmedXpert green button.  Import the table as you would normally.  Then go back into the ArmedXpert Options window.  Go back to Quality Control tab under Interpretation.  Click on the “Add Loci from Table” button.   The available tables are shown on the left hand of the window.  Click on the + sign next to the table to show all available samples on the table.  Select the sample, you would like to import. Click on the > arrow and the sample will now be shown on the right hand side of the window.

Click on the “Ok” button.  A window with the available Locus will appear as shown below.  You can unclick any locus that you do not want.  Once all locus selected are correct, click the “Ok” button. The new loci are now added. Enter your new low, high, stutter, etc… for each locus.
