How to Use the Popout Call Feature

This guide explains how to use the popout call feature in the Mixture Interpretation Window.

Click the Popout Calls button in the Mixture Interpretation Window.

Popout Call Window Opens

Popout Call Window Contains:

Locus with arrows to move between Loci.

Allele(s) for that Locus along with the rfu value for each.

Each Profile Name

Make Calls

For each locus, you can make calls for each of the profiles (contributors).

Under each Allele is a box.  Click on it to enter a check mark.  A drop down box will open, you can choose to call an allele an "any" or an "obligate" (*).  You can also choose to remove the allele.

When you select any, the word Any is shown to the right of the box.  When you select obligate, the letter O appears to the right of the box.

To remove a check mark, just click on the box containing a check mark and it will be removed.

Continue through each Locus to make the calls for the entire sample.

Click on the arrow keys next to the Locus name to move to each Locus.

Click on the X on the upper right hand corner to close the window once you are finished.
